Smite is an action-packed MOBA with a huge eSports following. It features a third-person perspective and plenty of gods with different abilities.

Yemoja is a Support that was once S tier but fell of slightly in Season 8. Her kit has ranged CC, healing and disruption for team fights.

Khepri is a god that counters diving in the current meta. His Scarab Blessing removes CC from teammates and grants them speed and immunity to slows for a short window.

1. Apollo

In the current meta of tier list Smite, gods that can apply early pressure and snowball with their CC are really good picks. Yemoja can do both of those with ease thanks to her ability to spawn massive walls of water and snare enemies.

Arthur is another great ADC that can clog up enemy backlines with his long dashes and potent CC. He’s also pretty durable against poke and can even confirm kills with his ult. The only downside is he’s a bit slow.

2. Anhur

Generally considered one of the more aggressive carry potential Gods in the game, Anhur has great CC and damage. He also has the ability to erect walls to help his playstyle as well as root enemies and block their movement, making him a good pick against Warrior and Assassin dives.

Khepri is an excellent Tank for denying diving Gods, with her Scarab’s Blessing disabling crowd control and granting her a speed boost as well. This makes her a menace for enemy carries in the lane and can turn team fights into the player’s favor.

3. Cupid

The embodiment of love is a strong god that does good damage throughout the game. She punishes laners who ignore her, and she can gank in the jungle with ease.

She also has some potent CC that can deny dives and counter other ADCs. She is a great ADC to learn and is a solid pick for the current meta. Her ult is especially effective at disrupting dives.

4. Guan Yu

Based on ranked conquest performance, Guan Yu is one of the strongest ADCs in Smite. He can snowball quickly with his early pressure and his late game kit can do a lot of damage.

His Desert Fury ability makes him immune to CC, and his ult fires incredibly powerful AAs at Gods.

Jing Wei remains a popular pick in Season 8 and was one of the most banned Gods in Smite Pro League. Her mobility options let her gank in the lane and escape dives.

5. Khepri

With dive becoming a big thing in the current Smite meta, any God that can counter it is a strong pick. This makes Khepri a solid option for those who want to play a god that can stop diving with CC like snares, roots, stuns and damage.

Janus is a great hunter in the Smite gods gods tier list right now due to his high single target damage and portal escape. His ult also deals some good crowd control when he damages and slows enemies.

6. Tiamat

Tiamat has climbed the ranks due to her solid healing and damage. Her resistance shredding and crowd control removal is great for backline carries as well.

Fafnir is another god that saw a bit of a comeback in Season 8. His laning phase offers good poke and burst and his CC is pretty good. He does great damage in team fights as well thanks to his ult and the god’s movement speed buff.

Cu Chulainn is a decent pick in the jungle because of his ranged CC and damage. His ultimate can apply anti healing and he can also apply a large chunk of damage to a target with his Barbed Spear while in Berserk.

7. The Morrigan

The Morrigan is a crow, but she can also take on animal form such as a wolf or an eel. In mythology she encouraged warriors to fight and urged them to victory.

Chang’e is an incredibly useful support pick, especially against the dive meta that’s dominated the jungle this season. Moonlit Walts and Moonflower provide healing to allies, and her Crescent Moon stun ultimate offers great AOE damage.

Fafnir is another God that’s climbing in priority due to his backline power and CC. His combos are very satisfying, and he excels in ganking with his lane stealing abilities.

8. Osiris

Smite is a tough and competitive MOBA. You have to put in a lot of hours and have a strong mental fortitude to get high on the rank ladder.

If you are looking for a god that can do lots of damage and snowball early and late game then Osiris is a solid pick. His kit includes a decent stun, good CC and a reliable ult that allows you to sneak in a gank from the jungle.
